Clients Say:

"One of the best acting teachers I've worked with. Inspires you to do your best work - To really express your unique self. Caring and enthusiastic. An excellent coach for the working professional."
-- Ted Danson,
DAMAGES (on FX with Glenn Close), BECKER, CHEERS.more

"I have studied acting over the past 10 years in Australia. In L.A., I have studied with other very well known schools but did not get the shifts I wanted due to lack of teacher interaction and very large class sizes. In David's classes I was immediately struck by how preceptive the teachers were and how quickly I was able to move through blocks in my acting that had been there for years. I would like to thank my teachers for their honesty, time and persistence in getting me "out of my own way". I have had more "epiphanies" from these guys than anyone else" "
-- Thanks,
Anthony Wemyss

AN ACTOR

Who We Are:

Our acting teachers are working actors in film and television, with conservatory training from the best and oldest established schools in the United States. They have been trained in a wide variety of acting classes and techniques including Meisner, Stanislavsky, Michael Checkov, Viola Spolins Theater Games, Improvisation, and Scene Study. They know what it really takes to get acting work because they have all supported themselves as actors - and they are supportive. They teach you by building you up in our acting classes, not tearing you down.. more
What We Do:

We have the smallest classes in Los Angeles and give each student personal attention with lots of time to act in every class. Our Los Angeles acting classes provide a real-world approach to professional acting in Hollywood that gives you the on-camera acting, audition and cold reading skills you need to effectively compete to get work. (Take a look at our Bragboard to see actors just like you, getting work all the time!) In our acting classes you always act from scripts, on-camera and we use the principles from Sandford Meisner's book ON ACTING as teaching tools while drawing from the best of all the great acting teaching methods including Stanislavky, The Actors Studio, The Group Theater, Scene Study and Improvisation.
You learn how to perform a scene by expressing your instinctive emotional responses to everything that's going in the scene. more

Only 2% to 5% of all those seeking to earn money as actors support themselves financially. Our classes are not jobs, interviews, or auditions. Attending classes or a workshop is how you get more emotionally expressive, to give you the best chance to get work as an actor. Such contact as you may have with a casting director or any other industry professionals at a workshop or classes rarely results in further contact with that casting director, industry professional or any company affiliated with that casting director or industry professional.
